Registration & Tickets
Admission Non-Guarantee
Purchasing registration to Furry Down Under (including day passes) does not inherently guarantee that entry into all event spaces at the convention will always be possible due to capacity limits.
Official Channels
Our website at www.furdu.com.au and door sales at the convention are the only legitimate methods by which we offer registration.
Refunds
Registrations are refundable up to 2 months from the convention date, subject to the deduction of a processing fee:
- $50 for Super and Ultra Sponsor tiers.
- $10 for Sponsor and Standard tiers.
Transfers
Transfers must be facilitated by us. Please contact registration@furdu.com.au with your details and the details of the transferee.
- Transfers are at the discretion of FurDU and may not be possible within 2 months of the convention.
- Customised/Personalised products cannot be redesigned for the new attendee.
We are not responsible for any loss caused by the purchase of tickets from third parties. Please contact us if you wish to verify the status or details of a registration before buying from another person.
Accessibility & Carers
While FurDU isn’t formally registered with disability support schemes, we offer a complimentary entry pass for care workers.
- The ticketholder must hold a current, valid Companion Card.
- Carers must be working as part of a registered care organisation and present valid credentials.
- Carer passes do not grant access to event spaces individually; they are valid only in the presence of the full ticketholder.
Convention Badges
Your badge is your passport. Please display it prominently (especially fursuiters) to avoid delays.
- Lost Badge: Contact staff immediately to verify registration and rectify the situation.
- Non-Transferable: Badges are issued to a specific person. Using a shared or fraudulent badge will result in immediate removal and termination of registration.

To maintain safety, strictly no weapons (including replicas/props that look like weapons) or Dangerous Goods are permitted.
- Exceptions: You must seek written approval from FurDU management for costume props. If approved, they must be used exactly as permitted.
- Prohibited Items: Water guns, foam guns, silly string, etc., are prohibited due to potential property damage.
- Inspections: FurDU reserves the right to inspect bags to ensure compliance.

We recommend that you do not speak to any unbadged and unescorted members of the press.
Report any unescorted media to FurDU staff immediately.
All journalists and media must display an official FurDU Media Badge and be accompanied by staff at all times. Without this, they may not conduct interviews, take photos, or record audio/video.
